FAQ
Everything you want to know
General
What is FiveKick?
The app that makes amateur 5-a-side football in Belgium simple: you find a team at your level, the pitch and time slot are suggested automatically, you book with the venue and your players get called up without you lifting a finger.
Is FiveKick free?
Yes, the app is free: you only pay the venue for the pitch when you play a match. An optional Premium subscription adds cosmetics and detailed stats, with no sporting advantage whatsoever.
Where is FiveKick available?
Everywhere in Belgium. The app is available in English, French and Dutch.
How do I download the app?
On the App Store — just search for FiveKick. It's free. The Android version (Google Play) is coming soon.
Teams & matches
How many players in a team?
Up to 8 players in your squad: 5 on the pitch plus substitutes.
How do I find an opponent?
You see the teams available near you with their ELO level. You challenge them on a posted time slot — or directly, even if the team has no availability online.
I don't have a team. Can I still play?
Yes. Sign up as a free player: get invited to matches or join a team that's recruiting.
How do call-ups work?
As soon as the match is confirmed, your players get a call-up. Everyone answers « I'm in » or « I can't » in one tap, and the captain sees it all in real time.
Who picks the pitch and the time?
FiveKick suggests a venue and a time slot based on where both teams are and when they're available. The captains confirm.
Booking & pitch
How do I book the pitch?
Once the match is set, FiveKick puts you in touch with the venue: phone, address and booking link right in the app. You book with them, on their terms.
How much does a match cost?
The pitch price depends on the venue and the time slot, and is usually split between the two teams. The venue sets its own price and booking terms.
What if the match is cancelled?
Cancelling the pitch and any refund are handled directly with the venue, under its own terms. On FiveKick, you can cancel the match in the app up to 12 hours before kick-off. More details in our terms of use.
Account & leaderboard
How does ELO work?
You have an individual ELO and your team has its own. Both change after every match, based on the result. A detail that matters: only players who confirmed they were coming win or lose individual ELO.
What do you do with my data?
Only what the app needs to run, in line with the GDPR. It's all explained in our privacy policy, and you can delete your account at any time, right in the app.
